Choose by material and task first, then confirm that the carrier can supply the required hydraulic power, reach and mounting geometry.
Groundwork and foundations
A Pile Driver drives foundation or sheet piles; a Hydraulic Plate Compactor densifies soil in trenches, on slopes and on roadbeds; a Ripper loosens hard or frozen ground; and an Auger Drill makes holes for poles, planting or foundations. Driving, compaction, ripping and drilling call for different tools and carrier setups.
Forestry and material handling
The Harvester Head handles timber feeding, delimbing and cutting; compare HF-H6, HF-H7 and HF-H8 against carrier power and hydraulic requirements. For material handling, choose a Rotary Hydraulic Grab for timber, scrap or sorting, an Orange Peel Grab for scrap, bulk material and waste, or a Mechanical Grab where a non-hydraulic handling setup fits. Check the material shape, jaw style and rotation circuit.
Check excavator make and model, operating weight, auxiliary oil flow and pressure, return-line arrangement, pin diameter and width, boom and stick geometry, and working reach. Rotating tools may need a dedicated rotation circuit. A Quick Coupler can speed changes between attachments when its pin dimensions and hydraulic connections match the fleet.
